You can’t really tell because their faces have stiffened up since rigor mortis has set in, but these zombies are doing their best to look appreciative. Hungry. But appreciative.

We’ve met our Kickstarter goal! Mayhem will ensue. Now that we’ve met our goal, we will receive any and all pledges from here on out, which actually makes this the perfect time to chip in (and snag yourself one of our awesome rewards)! Thank you so much for your continued support, and we can’t wait to see you at the show.

The prints from our photo shoot with the wonderful and talented Jessica Olm are in, and we’ve put them up for your enjoyment on the DEATH VALLEY gallery page.

If you think the zombie effects in these images are cool, just wait until you see what we have planned for the show, live and in your face. It’s going to be quite a ride. We’re at 87% on Kickstarter with just over 2 weeks to go. If you haven’t gotten a chance to head over there and take a look, why not check it out?

Zombie Awareness Month
The Zombie Research Society has officially declared May to be Zombie Awareness Month. We here at AntiMatter Collective whole-heartedly endorse this important message.

Rockstar physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and the boys of WNYC’s Radiolab ask where all the Antimatter went.  Little do they know we’re just hiding out in Brooklyn.

As you can see from the widget on right, we’re raising some money for DEATH VALLEY on Kickstarter. Kickstarter does for fundraising what BitTorrent did for file sharing: makes it distributed. It enables a lot of people to chip in a little bit to make something happen. On the flip side, if we do not make our goal we don’t receive any money at all.

Where does your money go? With your help we can:

  • Construct visually striking sets and costumes that capture the spirit of the Old West.
  • Incorporate cutting-edge gore effects to create a thrilling theatrical experience.
  • Acquire additional sound and lighting equipment to help bring the world of DEATH VALLEY to life.
  • Cover the cost of our 3-week slot at The Bushwick Starr.
  • Market our show, which includes printing postcards and hiring a press representative.
  • Pay our actors and designers for their endless hard work and dedication.

Please consider pitching in. It will help us make an awesome show.

More coming soon!

-Adam

Come support AntiMatter Collective’s first show, DEATH VALLEY, while seeing some badass theater AT THE SAME TIME!!!

For the past month, Adam and I have been working with Vampire Cowboys on their latest production, The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G. It features crazy kung fu fight choreography, muppet rap battles, and it’s artistically the riskiest show they’ve ever done. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

They’re holding a benefit performance for us on Thursday, April 7th. You can pick up your tickets online, or use the code “ZOMBIECOWBOYS” at the door. We’ll be hosting a reception with a donation bar after the show. You can come out, support our show, meet the casts of Agent G and DEATH VALLEY, and get your drink on.

See you there.

So apart from being a producer of badass theater, what is Antimatter? Theoretical physicist and all-around baller Michio Kaku answers. Let’s just hope we never run into the Matter Collective.

Welcome to the new blog of the new company AntiMatter Collective. Our mission: Make badass theater that you will enjoy.

More to come.
